TV Club Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 13, 2026
Last Updated: October 13, 2026
TV Show Tracker, LLC ("TV Club," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when you use the TV Club mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy explains our privacy practices and the choices available to you.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with TV Club, the features you use, your device settings, and the permissions you provide.
A. Information You Provide
When you use TV Club, you may provide information such as:
- account or profile information, if you create or maintain an account;
- shows, movies, watch history, watchlists, ratings, reactions, preferences, and other content or activity you save or submit;
- information contained in files you choose to provide to us, including data imported from other services;
- communications you send to us, including customer support requests, feedback, and related correspondence; and
- other information you voluntarily provide through the Services.
B. App and Device Information
When you use TV Club, we and our service providers may automatically receive certain technical and usage information, including:
- device type and operating system;
- app version and configuration;
- device or app identifiers;
- IP address and approximate location derived from an IP address;
- app launches, sessions, interactions, and feature usage;
- advertising identifiers where permitted;
- diagnostic, performance, and crash information; and
- information relating to advertising attribution and measurement.
The information available to us may vary depending on your device settings and privacy choices.
C. Subscription and Purchase Information
If you purchase a TV Club subscription or other digital product through Apple, Apple processes the underlying payment transaction.
We may receive information necessary to administer and verify your purchase, such as:
- product or subscription purchased;
- subscription status;
- purchase and renewal dates;
- transaction identifiers; and
- trial, renewal, cancellation, and expiration information.
We do not receive your complete payment-card information from Apple.
D. Advertising and Attribution Information
TV Club may display advertising and may use advertising and measurement technologies to understand the effectiveness of advertising for TV Club.
Depending on your device settings and consent, these technologies may process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app activity, advertising interactions, and attribution information.
On Apple devices, access to the Identifier for Advertisers ("IDFA") and certain forms of tracking are subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency ("ATT") framework. Where ATT permission is required, we will respect the choice you make through Apple's permission interface.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information collected through TV Club to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
- maintain your watch history, lists, preferences, and other TV Club features;
- personalize your experience;
- process and administer subscriptions and purchases;
- import information you ask us to import;
- provide customer support and respond to communications;
- understand how users interact with TV Club;
- diagnose bugs, crashes, performance issues, and other technical problems;
- develop and evaluate new products and features;
- measure the effectiveness of advertising and user-acquisition campaigns;
- display and measure advertising, where applicable;
- prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and misuse of the Services;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- protect our rights, users, and Services.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, research, product development, and other lawful purposes where the information cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
3. Tracking and Apple's App Tracking Transparency Framework
Where required by Apple, TV Club requests permission before allowing tracking as defined by Apple's ATT framework.
If you permit tracking, certain advertising or measurement partners may be able to use identifiers such as the IDFA to measure advertising performance or associate activity across apps and services.
If you decline tracking, we don't share your advertising identifier (IDFA), and Meta doesn't receive your purchase events. TikTok still receives the app events described in Section 4, with your device identifier and IP address, to measure our ads. Certain advertising measurement may instead rely on privacy-preserving technologies made available by Apple and other forms of aggregated or modeled measurement.
You can change tracking permissions for TV Club through your iOS privacy settings.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We may disclose information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
We use third-party companies to help operate and improve TV Club. Depending on the services you use, these providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable privacy terms.
These providers may include:
- Apple. Apple operates the App Store and processes in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions, entitlements, trials, purchases, renewals, and related subscription analytics.
- Meta. We use Meta technologies for app-event measurement, advertising attribution, campaign measurement, and related advertising functions. The information available to Meta depends in part on your device settings and privacy permissions.
- TikTok. We use TikTok's Business SDK to measure how our TikTok ads perform. The app sends TikTok events such as installs, app opens, trial starts, subscriptions and purchases, with a device identifier (IDFV), your IP address and basic device information. If you allow tracking, TikTok may also receive your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Google/AdMob. TV Club may use Google advertising technologies, including AdMob, to display and measure advertisements.
We may also use infrastructure, analytics, communications, customer-support, security, and other technology providers as necessary to operate TV Club.
We require service providers and other third parties that process personal information on our behalf to handle that information consistent with applicable law and appropriate privacy and security protections.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
- enforce our agreements and policies;
- detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of TV Club, our users, or others; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transactions
If TV Show Tracker, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar corporate transaction, information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with that transaction, subject to applicable law and this Privacy Policy.
5. Advertising
TV Club may be supported in part through advertising.
Advertising partners may receive or process information about your device and interactions with advertisements for purposes such as delivering ads, limiting repeated advertisements, measuring performance, detecting fraud, and, where you have provided the required permission, providing personalized advertising.
Your ability to limit tracking and personalized advertising depends on your device, jurisdiction, and the particular service involved.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account or preferences, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our agreements.
Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and why it was collected.
We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer periods where permitted by law.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no electronic transmission, application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- request access to personal information we maintain about you;
- request correction of inaccurate information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability of certain information; and
- appeal or complain regarding certain privacy decisions where applicable.
You may also control certain privacy permissions through your device settings, including Apple's tracking permissions.
To exercise a privacy right or request deletion of information associated with you, contact us using the information in Section 13 below.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have additional rights under applicable California privacy laws, including rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information and to opt out of certain forms of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising where applicable.
TV Club does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
Certain advertising or analytics activities may constitute "sharing" or similar activity under some privacy laws even when no money is exchanged. Where required by applicable law, we will provide mechanisms to exercise the corresponding opt-out rights.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. International Users
TV Club may be available to users outside the United States.
Depending on where you reside, applicable law may provide additional rights concerning your personal information.
Where required, we process personal information under an appropriate legal basis, which may include:
- performance of a contract;
- your consent;
- compliance with legal obligations; or
- our legitimate interests or those of a third party, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests.
Information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you reside, including the United States. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
11. Children's Privacy
TV Club is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in violation of this section, please contact us.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
TV Club may contain content, integrations, or links involving third-party services.
Those third parties may have their own privacy practices, and this Privacy Policy does not govern information processed independently by third parties. We encourage you to review their applicable privacy policies.
